Rack PDU Sourcing
Rack PDU supply matched to your outlets, phases and metering class — from basic strips to 22 kW intelligent units.
Four Rack PDU Classes for 2026 Specs
Rack PDU sourcing starts with class: basic strips, metered units, switched outlets and intelligent platforms with billing-grade metering. With AI racks crossing 120 kW per cabinet, liquid cooling is mandatory and rack power delivery has shifted from spare capacity to engineered specification. PDU lead times from Shenzhen remain 15-30 days, but upstream transformer delivery stretched to 160 weeks globally (Edgen), so downstream power components should be specified early.
All PDU classes we source carry UL 62368-1, covering safety for ICT equipment. The practical difference between classes is not safety but control: metered gives visibility, switched adds remote on/off, intelligent adds per-outlet management. Power range spans 5 kW to 22 kW, matching typical 0U vertical, 1U and 2U form factors.

Outlet Standard Is the Conversion Field
Outlet specification is the conversion field between server power supplies and the PDU busbar. IEC C13 is rated 10 A, C19 is rated 16 A, and C21 is rated 16 A in hot condition — a distinction that matters when GPU trays push inlet air above standard thresholds. For a 22 kW rack PDU, a mix of 24xC13 and 24xC19 outlets is common, with HDOT horizontal configurations to maximize density.
- C13: 10 A — used for 1U servers and network gear
- C19: 16 A — required for high-wattage PSUs and GPU nodes
- C21: 16 A hot condition — for enclosed or high-temp racks
- 24xC13 + 24xC19 HDOT — dense server configurations up to 22 kW
- Verify cord retention and locking IEC connectors for AI racks
